Woke up and for the first time the animals were gone Our clocks are ticking now so before our time is gone We could get a house and some boxes on the lawn We could make babies and accidental songs (Damien Rice - The Animals were gone)
Model: silly girl does not know how beautiful she is, tell her!
This is a photograph so full of emotion, of vibrant feelings, of sincerity and sensibility.
Maybe the subject placement isn't the best possible (I really would have liked to see the girl's face a bit to the left), but the lighting, the colors - the temperature and contrasts between them, the depth of field and the post-processing are simply stunning, perfect, I dare to say.
In any case, I feel that this photograph's quality is 51% due to the model's talent, with her extraordinary ability to display such strong feelings on such a calm face. She seems to be waiting for something, or, better, for someone to appear, accidentally maybe.
This is the type of portrait that cannot be ignored for the simple fact that it expresses so much. The melancholy and the purity, at the same time, of the model, adds a soft touch to the photo: the thoughtful, pensive kind of look. And that look, plus the post-processing, make this photo stand out from the crowd. Raw beauty, if I can name it that way, for its natural state of being and its astonishing face features. The only thing that bothers me is the background in the left side of the photo, as it softly touches the model's arm, and it looks, maybe, too processed. Nonetheless, this is yet another one of =WildRainOfIceAndFire's soft, touching and meaningful portrait.
-- The dream was always running ahead of me. To catch up, to live for a moment in unison with it, that was the miracle. (Anais Nin) --------------------------------------------------- Personal website:Delirium
