but how could you complain... when i'm so easily amused

i'd like to thank everyone for their kind comments, you have given me strength

This is not supposed to be artistic. I've felt down about myself for a really long time, and for a while I even removed all photographs of me, including my ID. I didn't plan this photoshoot, it just happened that i looked in the mirror while changing and decided to take a few photographs. Although I've been done 5 or 6 different self-portrait sessions over the last 10 months i haven't really been able to post them, but this one felt special.
It is not the most amazing composition, but I couldn't particularly move that closet

and also decided that I did not want this to be a clean-cut shot, I wanted the particular quirks of my room.

This photograph is personal and it's supposed to be empowering for me. I didn't expect it to be this successful because my self-portraits usually aren't.

P.S. And I always wanted to jump on the "self-with-camera-impliednudity-shot" band-waggon
